The Double Red Duke is the latest addition to husband and wife duo Sam and Georgie Pearman's Country Creatures portfolio, which also includes The Chequers at Churchill and The Swan at Ascott-under-Wychwood.
As well as boasting 19 bedrooms and a warren of lounges with log fires and deep leather arm chairs, the hotel has also secured the services of butcher and founder of Hawksmoor, Richard H Turner to work alongside Head Chef, Richard Sandiford (ex-Hawksmoor) on a menu dedicated open-fire cooking and large cuts of meat, whole fish dishes and awesome Sunday roasts.

Cheltenham's food scene is hotting up this summer with the arrival of BAO + BBQ on Regent Street.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner 6 days a week with dining set over two floors.
You can expect everything from Taiwanese steamed Bao buns + Texan style BBQ fused with a Tawainese twang, Asian inspired cocktails & beers, Pit Masters Feast for groups and dinky Bao buns with smoked meat if you want to keep it light.
