NOVEMBER MEETING STYLE GUIDE
Taking place from Friday 15th - Sunday 17th of this month, The November Meeting is our favourite meeting of the year at Cheltenham outside of The Festival.
There is some high quality races over the three days, with the Paddy Power Gold Cup, Greatwood Hurdle and Shloer Chase the features during a jam-packed weekend.
Fashion wise, the three days are all very different.
Friday is Countryside Day, Saturday feels like a day at The Festival, and Sunday has a much more relaxed feel with a huge amount of family fun and entertainment.
We thought that we would try and give you a little help of what to wear across the three days.
FRIDAY
As we mentioned, Friday is Countryside Day, so you can expect lots of tweed jackets and where better to look for one of these than at Holland Cooper.
For us, on the Friday, it will be a dark tweed. If you want a long jacket, then the Glen Green Cheltenham Coat is one. For a shorter jacket, the the Hampton Check Single Breasted Blazer would work really nicely.
Recently, the gilet and jumper look has been our go to for racedays and this would go very nicely with the longer coat. Either the khaki, navy or chocolate Country Fleece Gilet would go well with this coat and it gives you the smart collar look too with a Country Crew Neck jumper underneath.
If you're going for a shorter blazer, then a shirt and tie or roll neck go really nicely.
Trousers wise, we would definitely stick to a green or brown. The beautifully fitted Camden Cord Trousers from Schoffel would be our choice.
On your feet, it's really hard to look past Fairfax and Favor boots and we think their Nelson Dealer Boot in Mahogany would work perfectly.
Accessories wise, match your belt to brown trim on the gilet and boots.
"At Holland Cooper, heritage tailoring is at the core of everything we do. Our menswear collection is designed to help you find the perfect investment piece for those iconic moments and Cheltenham is definitely a key date in the calendar.”
"My go-to for race days has to be our fabulous new Cheltenham Coat – available in a range of beautiful colourways. This town coat is perfectly suited for the races and pairs effortlessly with one of our fleece gilets underneath for that classic layered look."

JADE HOLLAND COOPER
SATURDAY
Saturday is the big day on the track and a big one off it too. It's the day where we would go all out.
For us, our favourite piece from Holland Cooper is the Cheltenham Coat in tawny and the Single Breasted Blazer in the same colour. Both can be worn with a matching St James Waistcoat and trouser if you want to get noticed!
We love a cord trouser, and the afore mentioned Camden trouser from Schoffel come in navy too and make the tawny coat and blazers pop. The green cords work just as well.
Under the coat or blazer, you can go for a roll neck (probably charcoal) or a shirt, tie and jumper option.
Shoes all depend on the trouser you are wearing.
If you go for the shorts option, then Fairfax and Favor's trusty favourite Chocolate Chelsea Boots work well. If you opt for the tailored tawny trouser, then a pair of black Balmoral loafers would work a treat.
Again, the belt would depend on the shoes, so match accordlingly.

SUNDAY
Sunday is family day at Cheltenham, and with that it brings a more laid back feel with style to match.
This is a day for a blazer and not a long coat. We love the The Single Breasted Blazer Mono Herringbone, matched with a pair of dark trousers. We would never usually be one for jeans at the races, but the deep indigo or black ones at Holland Copper really work with this blazer.
For us, we will probably mix and match some of the clothes we have mentioned before which means it might be a day for the Barrowden Quilt Jacket or Carron Jacket from Schoffel with a smart quarter zip fleece, jumper or gilet underneath, depending on the temperature. A classic green, brown or navy, or perhaps had a bit of colour with a red or pale blue. A shirt and tie goes nicely with both. We really like the Dubarry Feeney Zip Neck Sweaters.
Although it's a more relaxed day, don't try and match your outfits with lighter jeans or trainers!
The Houghton Cognac shoes or either pair of the boots mentioned above would work with either of these outfits.
SHIRTS, TIES & HATS
We have mentioned shirts and ties throughout this guide and a nice white one would always work.
If you like more of a pattern, then the new Cheltenham Camel Check from Holland Cooper offers a nice country look.
For a plain vibe, then the Titchwell Tailored shirts at Schoffel come in various colours.
As for ties, this is where you can add an extra pop of colour to your outfit.
Something similar to the Moss Croc Silk Tie from Franc James will catch the eye.
If hats are your thing, then look no further that Hicks & Brown. Their beautiful Suffolk Fedora comes in a range of colours, but the Olive Green would be our choice.
