The National Hunt season begins at Cheltenham this weekend, and as well as some highly anticipated racing, there is lots of other reasons to visit The Showcase Meeting.

LIVE Q&A SESSIONS SHOWCASING HORSE RACING

Join presenters Aly Vance and Martin Kelly in the Parade ring as we go behind the scenes and discover the stories and personalities behind racing with special Q&A sessions. They will also be on hand to guide you through the day’s card with our raceday preview show featuring special guests and punters panel on Friday at 12:45 & Saturday at 12:30.

Check out the famous Cheltenham hurdle and fences up close and personal with a guide to the obstacles. Join the Cheltenham Racecourse ground staff on Saturday at 12.15 as they talk through the building of fences at the Home of Jumps.

CELEBRATE OWNERSHIP DAY

The Racecourse Ownership Day series is coming to Cheltenham Racecourse for The Showcase Meeting on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October.

As well as enjoying an afternoon of top-quality Jumps racing, the weekend will give racegoers both seasoned and newcomers to the sport, a fascinating insight into what it is like to be an owner of an equine star. 

MEET AND CHAT WITH SYNDICATES AND RACING CLUBS  
Syndicates and Racing Clubs will be in the Hall of Fame ready to chat with you about the avenues into racehorse ownership, with a range of share options from £18 to £3,820. There will also be competitions on the day, with chances to win some amazing prizes! Syndicates and Clubs confirmed to attend include Hot To Trot Racing, Old Gold Racing, Foxtrot Racing and Kim Bailey Racing. 

PARADE OF HORSES WITH SHARES AVAILABLE  
Before racing begins on Saturday at 12:15, a parade of horses in training with shares available will take place in the Parade Ring. Racegoers will have the opportunity to buy shares on the day or simply learn about the process of purchasing shares in a racehorse and what to look for in a young horse.  

OWNERSHIP TALKS  
Ownership Ambassador, Frankie Foster will lead a series of educational talks throughout the day, interviewing syndicate managers, trainers and racing personalities, sharing their knowledge and experience of shared ownership.

GET YOUR DANCING SHOES ON

Enjoy live music throughout the raceday in Quevega and See you Then Terrace. On Friday we will be joined by Tommy Lewis, Joe Wheldon & the Hipcats. Saturday sees our first after racing performance by The Wickermen at 5:00pm after a packed music schedule around the site from Esther Turner, Joe Wheldon & the Hipcats.
