THE CORNBURY HOUSE HORSE TRIALS

With a passion for both the sport and the lifestyle of modern eventing, David Howden and his team have curated an unmissable event at this year's Cornbury House Horse Trials.

The 2023 Cornbury House Horse Trials is the ideal setting to appreciate and enjoy the finest young horses and riders in the country competing in dressage, cross country and show jumping from Wednesday 6th - Sunday 10th September.

Spectators at this year's event will see a full roster of international and British Eventing classes as well as the Howden Way Youth Championships at CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S levels across the five days.  Most excitingly, and new for 2023, are the British Eventing Young Horse Championships for five-, six- and seven-year-old horses – the best of the UK’s future equine stars.

On top of that, there is an exciting partnership with The Pelican pub, who are based in Notting Hill and have recently opened The Bull pub, located next to Cornbury Estate in Charlbury.

‘The Pelican in the Field’ is a wonderful hospitality experience that will be available on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September. Guests can expect a fantastic feasting style menu, set in a relaxed space overlooking the main show-jumping arena. Featuring The Pelican’s signature open-fire cooking style and using Cornbury Farm raised meat as well as locally grown produce,
