Think of all of your favourite products from around the Cotswolds, and then think them all in the same place.
Well, that's happening in Stow on the Wold this month as Off the Square, a Craft Beer and Local Produce shop, opens on Digbeth Street in the town on April 25th. Their promise is that everything available in the shop will be produced in the Cotswolds, with an aim to support local small businesses and suppliers. There will be an array of craft beers, including Deya, Cotswold Brew Company, Hook Norton, Cotswold Lion and Battledown. Cider from Dunkertons, Pearsons and the Cotswold Cider Company will also be available. Local wines include Three Choirs, Woodchester Valley and Little Oak. On the food front, they will be working in partnership with The Cotswold Guy, offering his restaurant quality Beef Wellington and Burger Kits for pre-order. You will find lots of lots of produce from the likes of Tubby Toms, Upton Smokery and Cacklebean Eggs. Opening hours will be 10am-6pm Monday-Wednesday, 10am-8pm Thursday-Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday. As well as being a retail space there will also be 3 tables where customers can choose to sit in and sample a selection of the beers from draught or enjoy some home-cooked snacks prepared by a local chef.
