NATIONAL BURGER DAY 2016

Thursday 25th August is a big day in the culinary, and the Cotswolds Gentleman's, calendar! We love a good burger and  have found some of the best patty serving establishments in the Cotswolds where you can celebrate! Which is your favourite?

The Halfway House, Kineton
The Halfway House in Kineton actually have 4 burgers on their menu! Beef, Chicken, Halloumi and Seafood Burgers are all available!

Ellenborough Park, Cheltenham
The Brasserie at Ellenborough Park is open 12 noon – 10pm daily which makes it a perfect spot to enjoy a burger on this fine day!

The Croft, Bourton on the Water
The Croft in Bourton on the Water has a riverside location and also has mighty fine burgers to enjoy too!

Kingham Plough, Kingham
Every part of this burger was immense from the first bite to the relish on the side. Pop in if you are ever in Kingham!

The Wild Beer Co, Cheltenham
It's purely coincidence that Nation Burger Day falls on The Wild Beer Co's weekly burger and bun night but it is cause for a double celebration for sure!  This is a vegetarian option from their menu - Pablo breadcrumb covered mozzarella burger with avocado, spring onions, tomato and skin on fries!

Ebrington Arms. Ebrington
The "Yubby" (a local term for the village of Ebrington!) Burger is a mighty stack with layers of  bacon, cheese, gherkin, tomato and onion rings!

The Golden Cross Inn, Cirencester
The burger at the Golden Cross is made by their butcher neighbour's Jesse Smith! The delicious 8oz patty of ground Cotswold beef is topped with emmanthal and smoked back bacon. We also have it on good authority that their fried soft shell crab burger, served with chilli mayo, is truly divine too!

Bill's, Cheltenham (Get 20% Off at Bill's on National Burger Day at nationalburgerday.co.uk!)
We don't usually recommend chains but Bill's serves a great burger and is another good place to claim the voucher deal!

Tatty Bunting, Kingham
Hidden on the outskirts of Kingham lies Tatty Bunting. It is a little cafe attached to a holiday home park but on a good day, when you can sit outside, it feels like you could be somewhere in France!

Real Burger, Cheltenham
If you are after something a little different then head to Real Burger for their PBJ Burger on the recommendation of our foodie friend Roseann Thompson (aka @HoneybourneLine)! PBJ we hear you say........ Peanut Butter Jam!!!
