HOOKY ALE YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS
When scrolling through twitter the other day, we came across these delicious looking Yorkshire puddings posted on the Hook Norton Brewery page and asked them for the recipe! Serves 12
  • Mix 5 free range eggs in a large mixing bowl (for maximum bubbles!)
  • Add equal amounts of milk and plain flour (sieved to avoid lumps - remember bubbles are our friends, lump are our enemies!)
  • Open a bottle of Hooky. Pour a good measure into the mixture and the rest into a pint glass for use later
  • Put your mixture into a glass jug (for speed of pouring) and into the fridge to cool for about half an hour
  • Take the remaining Hooky you put aside and enjoy
  • Get a baking tray and 12 muffin cases. Fill each case with 1cm of Sunflower Oil, pop into the oven (190C 370F) for 15 minutes
  • Take your mixture out of the fridge (maybe grab another Hooky while you're in there!)
  • Take the tray out of the oven (be careful - hot!) and pour your mixture straight in
  • Sit back, relax, and by the time you've finished your Hooky (15 to 20 minutes) your puds should have risen and be looking golden and crispy
  • Take out of the oven, serve and enjoy!
