Christmas had come a little bit early when a box of 6 homemade Belgian truffles from Trufflesicious landed on The Cotswolds Gentleman's desk!
The first thing that stood out after trying our first truffle was that you can really tell that they are homemade. The different shapes makes the whole experience more personal. Cutting each one in half, you could really smell the richness. If you love deep, rich chocolate treats, you will not be disappointed!
The Real Ale ones were very rich, yet, didn't release the kind of flavour that the Ameretto, Hazelnut & Blood Orange Liqueur one oozed. The orange and nuttyness combination was a treat, as were the Champagne truffles with it's punch of alcohol mixed with a deep cocoa flavour! However, the salted caramel truffle was on an all new level. If, like us, you have a soft spot for dark chocolate, salt and caramel then this is for you!
